Bryan Donkin
Bryan Donkin over or under pressure cut-offs are safe alternatives to the relief valve. The over presure cut-off device is designed for applications where venting of gases to the atmosphere isn't allowed. During regulator failure downstrem pressures may increase to dangerous levels. The OPCO senses the over pressure situation then shuts off the gas flow at a preset level, therefore protecting equipment and environment from over pressure situations. The under pressure cut-off detects sudden pressure loss from possibly excessive gas flow or ruptured gas line. If low pressure is deteced the UPCO shuts off gas flow preventing gas flow. Both OPCO and UPCO require manual resets to resume gas flow.
